BetAmerica’s interface almost hits you in the face when you open it. It’s big, bold and colorful and gets right down to business.

Other easily-spotted buttons on the home page with quick links to the subject include ‘Promotions, ‘Live Sport’ (betting), Results (from all corners of the globe) and ‘Odds.’

This Last button enables you to read all the odds on site in either American, decimal or fractional odds. Most other New Jersey sports betting sights also offer this facility, but too often it’s hard to find or inconvenient to use.

Still on BetAmerica’s impressive home page; it also carries an Information column (below its sports menu) with a long list of helpful subjects newbie’s especially will find important.

That BetAmerica runs on the SBTech soft ware is the cherry on top. It’s as good as wagering soft ware can get.

Sports Menu and Betting Options

BetAmerica’s sports Menu is also pretty close to being as good as it gets. It fully covers all the major American sports like NFL and College football, NBA and College Basketball, MLB Baseball and NHL Hockey.

But its menu also carries a more comprehensive list than most of international and non- America sports. These include Soccer, Golf, Tennis, Rugby Union and Rugby League, Boxing, MMA, Aussie Rules, Cricket, Cycling, Motor Racing and even Darts

It does not hold back, either, on the numbers of betting markets and betting options it offers within each sport. There are hundreds and hundreds

They range from the standard, day-to-day Money Line, Spread and Totals bets through Futures, Prop and Round Robins bets to the risky but highly rewarding Parlay bets which, records show, bring in more handle in New Jersey than any other type of bet.

In addition BetAmerica offers a bursting-at-the-seams schedule of Live, In-Play Betting and allows Cash-out betting.

Live, in-play betting: This increasingly popular type of fast-action betting is clearly one of BetAmerica’s top betting draw-cards after parlay wagering. At around 9am (Pacific Time) on January 14, BetAmerica had more than 30 live betting events scheduled for the day. Some were in far-off places like Moscow and Haifa.

Get a risk-free bet up to $1,000.00

As a new member you get your first bonus when you make your first bet. If you lose the bet your account is credited with the amount you lost up to $1000 – if the bet is settled within seven days. Sounds great but the fine print adds:

“There is a wagering requirement before players are permitted to withdraw any bonus funds or bonus winnings from their account.

“This wagering requirement will be 3x the amount of the bonus before a withdrawal of the funds can be initiated, i.e. if a player receives $1,000 in bonus funds, they must then place settled wagers to the value of $3,000 ($1,000 x 3) before being able to withdraw any bonus funds or bonus winnings.

“The wagering requirement can be single straight bets with odds not more favorable than -250 or parlays of four legs or greater, with odds not more favorable than -200.”

Free $20 with first live bet:
Players wagering a minimum of $20 for their first live bet will “instantly be awarded $20 in bonus funds”. Once more, however, there is a “wagering requirement”. When players are awarded the $20 bonus, they must then wager another $20 before the bonus and/or winnings from it can be withdrawn from their accounts.

Bet $5 and get $20:
This promotion seemed to be open to all, not just first-timers. The promo announcement reads: “Players who make at least $5 in cumulative wagers will instantly be awarded $20 in bonus funds.” It can be used immediately but also has ‘wagering requirements”

Both of BetAmerica’s other two listed promotions involved their Casino. One offered a welcome Casino bonus similar to their sportsbook version. The other offered “20 free spins on the slot of the week”.
